Week 15 "Thanksgiving Wee"

So I am back and ready to tell you a out my week. So on Monday night I went on exchanges in Great Falls and I was in a Trio with Elder Cody Peterson and Elder Hunter Pererson and that was really fun and that went to Wednesday morning, But on Tuesday morning we went finding and one guy walked up to us and started talking to us on how he is super healthy and keeps his body healthy and he was pretty weird to be honest because his mouth was foaming and it was pretty gross but we gave him our number and he said that he would call us. I believe that he was on drugs but that was pretty good. But one thing that i learned on that exchange is really how to become a better effective teacher and I feel like I've come to understand the lessons more and am able to speak and listen to the promptings and say what He puts in my mind, that is really what I have learned on that exchange.  On Wednesday morning we exchanged back so I went back to Lewistown. On Thursday I had my first Thanks...

Week 14 "3 Months In!"

Hello, so I hit My 3 Month Mark and time is Flying so it is great down here in Montana. So this week we just had a lot of Appointments fall through, so I don't have much to talk about this week But I can tell you that my Testimony of this Gospel has grown since I have been on my mission, it is Just amazing that our Savior has set the atonement for each one of us because he loves us so much to set the Atonement. But on Thursday we had Zone Conference and Elder Gifford Nielsen of the Seventy Came and it was truly Amazing, I learned a lot and it was truly amazing. One thing that I am going to work on as a missionary is to listen to the spirit more and listen to those promptings and act on them more but zone conference was awesome. This week we Just did a lot of Tracting and we found at least 5 new people and that was awesome and they seemed really interested so all we need to do is set up appointments with them. So honestly I feel like there is a lot of people that is ...

Week 13 "7 Inches of Snow"

Hello everybody, I'm back. This week was pretty dang great if you ask me. On Tuesday we had interviews with our Mission President and that was great.  On Wednesday we were going to this less actives house and when we knocked on the door, the less active apparently doesn't live there anymore but lives somewhere else in Lewistown, but the people that opened up the Door were Messianic Jews and that was pretty interesting, but apparently the wife was member but stopped coming to church in about 1975 and it seemed like she was a excommunicated member but we are not exactly sure, but they were interesting and they said that they read the Book Of Mormon, and then on Saturday we went to a Messianic Jew bible study and that was very interesting but me and Elder Giles wish that we could get them to understand some things because they had some truth to what they were saying but they just need to know and understand some more things, but they were interesting people. One thing...

Week 12 (November 5, 2018) "Just Another Week"

So this week has been pretty good I will say, but just another week. But I did not realize how big my mission was until we drove 53 miles to visit a Convert so that was crazy. But on Halloween we are supposed to be done Proselyting at 6:00 p.m. but our mission President gave all the missionaries permission to watch the move Coco so that was really good, we watched it at our bishops house and that movie actually has some connections to Family history so that was pretty interesting but basically we just hung out with members on Halloween night so it was pretty good.   But basically this week we went and contacted like everybody that the missionaries had met with in the past so that was good and we are meeting with a 17 year old that we just met for the first time and he said getting baptized is something he would be willing to be baptized so we taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I'm hoping that he does decide to take that next step. And on Sunday we had a ...
