Week 11 "Getting Adjusted to Lewistown"

So this week has just been another week In Montana.  And this email might be short, so be prepared. So one thing that's awesome in Lewistown is that all the members are missionary minded so that is amazing, and there are some awesome people we are teaching, one of them is named Stefani and she just got out of prison a month ago and the missionaries have been teaching her for a year now and she knows a lot, we are really hoping that she wants to come into Christ and be Baptized while we are here because I really think that she is ready and she comes to church every Sunday. Another person we are teaching is Mikey Patterson and he is about 10 years old and his parents are not interested but they are willing to let him chose his religion which is amazing and he comes to church every Sunday as well and even participated in the Primary Program on Sunday which is awesome. On about Thursday or Friday we were walking and we waved at this one lady and this guy jumped out of the doo...

Week 10 "Transfers!"

So My first Transfer happened and of course like I kept saying I stayed,  woo hoo!  Ha ha I'm just kidding, I actually got Transferred and a New Trainer.  So My New Companion is Elder Giles and he is from Cedar City Utah and he is Amazing.   My new area is the Lewistown Montana area.  It is a town of 5,000 people which is 2,000 more than Deer Lodge, and 4,000 less than Anaconda and 4,000 more than Phillipsburg, but it's nice to only have to deal with one area. So starting off at last Monday, so Monday night me and Elder Hallett decided to go Tracting at 8:00 at night and we came a cross this one house and we saw this sign, I can't remember what it said but it was like a no Solicitors sign or something like that.  But we decided to walk a way and I'm pretty sure he saw us, and then when we were getting in our car and we saw a cop drive past and me and Elder Hallett knew that somebody called the cops on us because why else would he drive...

Week 9 (October 15, 2018) SNOW IN OCTOBER!

Well it finally decided that it is going to snow this last week, and it's been kinda weird because snow sticks to the ground and than the Next day it's already melted. So honestly not much happened this week so this email might be short or it might be long.  But transfers are actually this week so I've almost made it through my first transfer. We should get transfer calls tonight, but i'm probably going to stay in Deer Lodge with Elder Hallett and a new set of elders are mostly going to take Anaconda and Phillipsburg, which will be good for both Deer Lodge and Anaconda so we can focus only on Deer Lodge and the other set of elders can be in Anaconda full time, so that will be good. So a couple weeks ago we met this one guy named Kyle and we got in contact with him on Saturday and he is awesome, he is so willing to meet with us so he is going to call us when he has time, so that will be great to meet with him. One thing I like while being out here is doing ...

Week 8 "Where Did Fall Go"

So it just keeps getting colder and colder in Montana, It's like fall was only 1 or 2 days here, it's crazy. So this week was pretty good, I'm not gonna lie, well maybe I will.  I don't know. So on Monday last week our whole Zone went on a hike in Butte and that was super duper fun. I absolutely love how beautiful it is down here. I don't know what it's called where we went hiking but I absolutely love the beautiful views. So on Tuesday we had exchanges again, so I was with Elder Herring and he's a cool guy, one other thing about exchanges is that I gotta drive again, driving is one thing I miss most.  So when I was with Elder Herring, one thing I now understand is why they say to keep your Consecrated oil on you at all times, because there is all ways someone that will need a blessing and you won't be at your apartment to grab some, so that's one thing I've learned while I have been on my Mission. So here is a fu...

Week 7 "THE TIME TO FREEZE!"

So it's about getting cold here in Montana and winter is approaching, but it is a great week here.  So I'm gonna jump all the way to Wednesday so Wednesdays are the days when we are in Phillipsburg, so there is this famous BBQ place in in Phillipsburg and it is amazing.  And I got the Nachos and they were probably the best Nachos I've ever had.  And Phillipsburg also has a famous candy store and it is amazing. So when we were walking back to our car we met this one couple that started asking us questions about the Fall, like why would God tell them to not partake of the fruit if he wanted them to do so.  Questions like that.  But I don't think I told any of you this but elder Hallett is an Opera singer so this guy that we met was also an Opera singer, and he know Pavarotti and I have no idea on any Opera singers But Pavaratti is a famous Opera singer so he was a really interesting guy. Now on Thursday we got to go to a volleyball game because the person ...
