Week 8 "Where Did Fall Go"

So it just keeps getting colder and colder in Montana, It's like fall was only 1 or 2 days here, it's crazy.

So this week was pretty good, I'm not gonna lie, well maybe I will.  I don't know.

So on Monday last week our whole Zone went on a hike in Butte and that was super duper fun. I absolutely love how beautiful it is down here. I don't know what it's called where we went hiking but I absolutely love the beautiful views.

So on Tuesday we had exchanges again, so I was with Elder Herring and he's a cool guy, one other thing about exchanges is that I gotta drive again, driving is one thing I miss most.  So when I was with Elder Herring, one thing I now understand is why they say to keep your Consecrated oil on you at all times, because there is all ways someone that will need a blessing and you won't be at your apartment to grab some, so that's one thing I've learned while I have been on my Mission.

So here is a funny story for y'all.  So on Thursday we had District Council in our Anaconda Church Building, and then me and Elder Hallett were about to get in the Car and we realized that Elder Hallett had locked the Keys in the Church so we had to call like everybody we could think of to let us in to the building and we couldn't get anyone to let us in.  But luckily someone did show up and he was nice enough to let us in so that kinda sucked but it was mostly funny.

I can't remember what day this was but if any of you need a snack while you are driving through Deer Lodge you should stop at Prison Pizza, they have the best Pizza and Milk shakes you will ever have in your life.

So on Friday we got to go to the high school football game for Deer Lodges team and that was a really good game, they won with a winning touchdown.  And we tried to talk to a lot of the Youth so that was good.

So on Saturday and Sunday it was General Conference and 2 hour Church, who is excited for that.  That is truly awesome to be honest because family being able to have more teachings at home  is truly awesome.  On the Saturday session of Conference my favorite talk was by Dieter F. Uchtdorf I loved how he said the 3 things is to

1: Believe 

2: Love

3: Do

That talk was truly awesome.

And the Sunday session though.  Definitely my favorite talk of the whole conference was by Pres. Russell M. Nelson, about the Church being called Mormon, LDS, the Church of the Latter Days.  The Most important thing we are missing in that is JESUS CHRIST!  What Pres. Nelson said is "To remove the Name of the Church is a Major victory for Satan"  so I encourage every one of you to call the Church by it's Name.  And if someone asks if your Mormon respond "If you're asking if I'm a Member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints, than yes I am" so I wanna invite all of you to do that.

So we visited this guy named Chris Holmes and he's legally gonna change his name to hillbilly, he is the funniest guy you would ever meet.  We went to knock on his door and he opened his door and he had his gun in his hand and then he was like "Oh it's you guys" so we basically got a gun pulled on us but he is the funniest guy ever.

So that was basically our week.

I'm absolutely loving my Mission with everything, and I'm so very grateful for this opportunity.
