Week 16 "Time For December"

Hello everyone, I am back.

So this week was pretty good I would say. Last Monday we had to take our truck in to get fixed and we wont get it until at least Wednesday and before you ask -  it wasn't me or my companion who crashed the truck. It was the Elders before us.

On Tuesday, this week when we were walking and we saw this one guy sitting on a bench, so  my Companion and I decided to go talk to him, he was kinda excited to see us, but his name is Little Richy and he is homeless, I am pretty sure he was on drugs, but later this week we were walking from someone's house and we saw him again so we went to talk to him again and he was excited to show us the place where he lives which is basically just by a River outside but maybe we will keep going back and maybe teach him Ha Ha.

Here is a little bit of a Funny story, we were walking down Main Street and we walked past a casino and we said hello to a lady smoking and she just looked at us with this creepy smile and said you two are young in this Creepy voice so we just decided to keep walking because we were pretty sure that she was drunk and she was like 60, but that was pretty weird.

Since we didn't have our truck, we decided to Just go tracting all day and we found at least 5 to 6 people with interest and that was amazing and a couple of them that said they weren't interested, let us show the Light the World video with them and that was awesome.  One old lady when we knocked on her door, opened the door and said DON'T COME HERE AGAIN, but we just told her to have a nice day like the nice missionaries we are, but she didn't look very happy.

This week we taught a lot of people, we taught someone the restoration, a couple people the plan of salvation, but as well as that a ton of lessons fell through sadly, we just keep trying. Someone we are teaching said that she is planning on being baptized in June and she prayed to ask when she should be baptized and the answer she got was June,  she had been taught by the missionaries for a year now and her testimony is truly amazing and she has a ton of fellowship from members which is awesome.

On Sunday we had one person show up to church who we are teaching and is one of the recent converts mom so that was really good. We are trying to invite more to church so hopefully more people show up, oh and another one after that showed up as well so we had two people we are teaching show up to church on Sunday.

But that was our great week, so I will talk to y'all next Monday.
