Week 31 "7 Months"

Hello again!  So the 15th of March was my 7 Month mark and man time is flying!

This week was pretty good.  On Tuesday since it is warming up pretty good here in Lewistown we decided to go tracting about 20 Minutes away and that was great. No one was interested sadly, but we did make some good contacts, and on our way back from that we got stuck.  How we got stuck I don't know. Elder Ward was driving so it wasn't my fault this time, but some nice non-members helped us out which was good. We talked to them which was good.

On Wednesday we drove to Great Falls for zone Conference.

”Sister Larson lead a discussion were she asked us if we liked cake. She then threw cake at us! She also shoveled cake in someones face. It was way funny to watch, but we learned more about how we need to teach. The gospel of Jesus Christ is very simple, but our message is very unique especially for those that don't have Christian backgrounds. We can't just dump a lot information on someone, no matter how much you love it and want them to have it 'RIGHT NOW' it doesn't work like that. A person learning can only understand at the level where they are at. God speaks to his children in plainness and in their manner of speech.”

Great Falls Zone at Zone Conference

On Thursday,   me and one of the Elders that is serving in the Roe River Ward decided to go biking and made some contacts cause there area is a biking area and I found out that Roe River is a actual river and the smallest river In the world so that was very interesting.

On Friday at 12:45 we had a Lesson with A.J Sanders and we went over the Baptismal Interview Questions with him and that was super good.  He does have a desire to be baptized and the only thing that he is trying to work on Is getting Sundays off work, so make sure to pray for him.

Saturday was a hectic day, we moved apartments in Lewistown and our housing coordinator and his wife along with the housing inspectors for our zone came down to help. Most of the day we were moving. After that we went to the pinewood derby and volunteered along with participating and Elder Ward got 7th Place and I got 2nd place, that was really fun.

At 7:00 that night as well we had a lesson With Forrest and Margi Decker who are Messianic Jews and Margi is a member and we taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and yesterday margi told us that Forrest is thinking really hard about being Baptized,  so keep them in your Prayers please.

Yesterday, which was Sunday, Elder Ward was giving a talk in sacrament meeting and literally 1 Minute before Sacrament meeting started, our Bishop asked me if I could share a few thoughts and a testimony in Sacrament meeting, so when I got up the only thing that came to mind was the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I spoke on the first 5 points which is:  Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift Of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End and that went really well.  But that was our week so I hope you have a good week.
