Week 63 "Another Week!

So this week was actually really good.

Some of you might not know but transfers was a couple weeks ago and Elder Leavitt got transferred to Sheridan Wyoming, and I stayed in the Pioneer Ward in Billings. Another thing that happened in the past couple weeks is that we moved apartments and we live in a house that members own and it is Literally in their back yard but they are a pretty cool family so that's good.  The address will be at the bottom of this email.

Ohhhh and my new companion is Elder Ames who is from Thornton Colorado which is right outside of Denver and he is pretty cool.

This week was so good. We found 4 new people. Sadly there wasn't anyone at Sacrament Meeting but it was pretty good.

Tuesday night -  we had a meeting Tuesday morning, and then we did studies and then went out trying to contact people, then we decided to street contact in downtown Billings. We were walking down the street and started talking to homeless people and all of them recognized who we were, , they all Literally looked at us and said, "You guys are Missionaries", so we talked to them for a while and one guy, his name is Daniel from Arizona and he was talking about how he knows that we are good people and how he is a good person which was awesome.  Then the lady next to him just said can we pray, so we were like YEAH, and I prayed. I didn't really know what to say but I just asked for the homeless to be blessed.

That night we had a get to know you lesson with a 13 year old kid who says he wants to be baptized. We are going to meet with him every Wednesday, his name is Dequisyan.

Wednesday was pretty good as well, we had a zone meeting which was good.   We met with someone named Sherry, and she is interested in meeting with us, but she might have a long ways to go, so keep her in your prayers, her name is Sherry Neeley.  And that was our Wednesday.

Thursday, we did service at a food bank, which was good, after that we went to Bdubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) cause why not. Later that day we met someone named Kellyn and she is pretty interested and said her daughter might love to be baptized which is awesome so we look forward to meeting with them.  Also at night we met with Tajuana who is getting baptized on Friday at 6:30 pm so we went over the baptism and taught her laws and ordinances.

Friday we did service at the Food Bank again, and then we did service at the Temple and helped them plant tulips which was fun but that was our Friday.

Saturday we helped a member rake Leaves and that was fun, and then they took us to get lunch at redneck pizza. At 1:30 we went and played football with a bunch of non members and that was super fun, and at night it was the adult session of State Conference, and that was really good, a couple things that stuck out to me are they were talking about how in callings we serve because of our covenants, not because of our callings, and he was talking about how you should make your kids want to do the right not Force them to do the right thing,  I think that is so true because if you try to force your kids to do the right thing then they won't want to do the right thing, but after that we went to that same members house and we had a chocolate cake with marshmallow frosting  for my birthday which was fun.

On Sunday we had Stake Conference which was really good. We just studied and contacted a couple people but that is really what happened.

Well I will end by bearing my testimony.

As I have been on my Mission I have definitely seen my Heavenly Fathers love for me, and I have seen the atonement of Jesus Christ work in my life, I truly do love this gospel and I am so happy I grew up in or else I wouldn't know where I would be in my life today, but and I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that he restored the True church and I leave that with you in The Name Of Jesus Christ Amen.
